My sister-in-law, Adele, took her own life in Townsville on Monday, 2 January 2012.  I was scooting in the city when my phone rang.  It was my mother calling from South Africa (at 3 am there) relaying the news.  I sat down on the pavement with ♣ next to me and tried to ring my brother.  He could barely squeak out his story.  I booked my flight using ♣'s iPhone, sitting on that same pavement.  We raced home, packed, cancelled a bunch of other things and raced to the airport.  By 7 pm I was in Townsville with Gavin ...
